GATESHEAD DEANERY

SAFEGUARDING INFORMATION AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

COVID-19:  We continue to remain active as the Church in Gateshead, and are working towards re-opening our church buildings safely, where possible, and in line with Government advice.  We are continuing our weekly Deanery Service online every Sunday at 10.00 am (click the YouTube link at the bottom of this page to go to the channel).  For more details about what we're doing through the week, or if you'd like us to pray for someone, please contact us using the link above.

Welcome to the website for Gateshead Deanery - the Church of England in Gateshead.

Here you may find information on our congregations, discover our vision for the future of the Church in our local communities, and keep up to date with our news.

We believe Gateshead Deanery is called to:

share a common life for the encouragement of all God's people;

share resources for the building of God's kingdom;

share God's love for the transformation of the community.

To this end, our prayer is:

Loving God,

bless your Church in Gateshead,

that together we may be a blessing to all.

Enable us to catch your vision,

express your love,

and share in your mission,

that each community may be transformed and flourish.

Amen.
